When we assess your gums, we’ll measure the tiny spaces between teeth and gums. Rather than reeling off numbers without explanation, we’ll give you a clear score that shows your gum health status. We’ll also use intuitive digital technology to show you what’s happening in your mouth. That way, you can actually see what we see, making it easier to understand your options and make decisions with confidence.
To make your visit more comfortable, we use air polishers. Instead of traditional scraping, it uses warm water, air and a fine powder to gently lift away plaque and staining. It’s effective, kind to sensitive teeth, and leaves your smile feeling fresh and smooth. Many patients say it feels more like a spa treatment than a dental cleaning.

Patients value the way we make complex treatment feel approachable, calm and supportive.
Air polishing is gentle, and most patients find it comfortable. If gums are inflamed, you may feel some sensitivity, but this usually improves with ongoing care.
Hygiene appointments are key to controlling gum disease. We’ll work with you to stabilise and improve your gum health step by step. We offer advanced periodontal services with Dr Harriet Beaty (PGDip Perio 2025), so you can be treated for more advanced forms of gum disease, without having to go elsewhere
Many patients visit every 6 months. If your gums need closer monitoring, we’ll recommend a tailored schedule that works for you.
Hygiene visits don’t change your natural tooth shade, but Airflow® removes surface staining which is caused by smoking or staining foods for a fresher, brighter look.
